Alzheimer Nederland funds research into dementia. Alzheimer Nederland also provides support and advice at national and regional level, represents the interests of people with dementia and their loved ones, and works towards a dementia-friendly society.

Movisie
Movisie is the leading think tank for a coherent approach to social issues. Such as: how can people with dementia continue to live at home for longer?

Pharos
The Pharos Centre of Expertise helps to reduce significant health inequalities. This includes, amongst others, older people with dementia and those from migrant backgrounds, as well as their carers.

Vilans
Vilans is the specialist organisation for long-term care and support, including care for people with dementia.

Health Holland
Health Holland funds public-private research. It also brings together research organisations, businesses and other stakeholders to share knowledge, resources and innovations, ensuring they are brought to market smoothly.

Health-RI
Health-RI promotes data-driven research, policy and innovation to improve the health of citizens and patients. Health-RI supports researchers, collaborates at national and international level, and works towards establishing a national health data infrastructure.

MBO Raad
The MBO Raad is the trade association for schools in secondary vocational education and adult education. Among other things, it represents its members in the areas of knowledge-sharing and the implementation of educational innovations – including on the topic of dementia.

Academische werkplaatsen SANO
In academic workshops focusing on elderly care (such as those grouped under SANO), research, practice, policy and education work closely together. One of the aims is to translate findings into practice. This also takes place through academic workshops in other care sectors.

Consortium BO provides teaching materials, accredited examinations and training courses for professionals in vocational education, including healthcare and social care programmes.

GERION
Within Amsterdam UMC, GERION provides the training programme for specialists in geriatric medicine, as well as specialist training programmes such as that for dementia case managers. GERION also provides postgraduate training for healthcare professionals with degrees from universities or universities of applied sciences.
