PRODEM
Within PRODEM (Practice-Oriented Research for People with Dementia), 24 professors at thirteen universities of applied sciences work together on an interdisciplinary basis to make the best possible contribution to living well with dementia. PRODEM is actively committed to fostering a strong link between research, education and practice.
Bringing research, education and practice closer together
Through practice-oriented research, PRODEM addresses, amongst other things, the concerns of people with dementia, their loved ones and professionals currently dealing with dementia. PRODEM lecturers and researchers work closely with partners from the field and the education sector (vocational education, higher professional education and university education). In this way, they bring research, education and practice closer together and promote the implementation of (new and existing) findings, methods and interventions arising from research. Several lecturers are involved in the SPREAD+ and YOD-INCLUDED research consortia. PRODEM is also a coalition partner of DEMPACT.
