Boom Mbo

Boom Mbo (part of Koninklijke Boom Publishers) develops teaching resources for vocational education. Working alongside teachers, students and the professional sector, they create teaching materials that are relevant to real-world practice. Boom Mbo offers teaching materials, tools and events – both online and offline.

Dissemination and application of dementia knowledge

Boom Mbo aims to contribute to the wider dissemination and application of knowledge about dementia within vocational education. As a coalition partner of DEMPACT and a member of the Education Research Consortium, Boom Mbo is actively committed to future-oriented education in the care sector. Within a comprehensive teaching programme for Care & Wellbeing, attention is given to dementia and other topical issues. Specifically for dementia, an optional module has been developed on dealing with misunderstood behaviour in people with dementia.
