Movisie

Movisie is the leading knowledge institute for a coherent approach to social issues. For example: how can people with dementia continue to live at home for longer? Movisie develops knowledge about what really works and puts it into practice, in collaboration with those on the ground. Movisie works at both local and national levels to bring about sustainable, positive change for people in vulnerable situations. It supports, advises and collaborates with civil society organisations, public authorities, businesses and citizens’ initiatives.

Implementation and inclusivity

Movisie explores ways in which people with dementia (and their carers) can remain active and continue to live at home for as long as possible. Movisie also contributes to the implementation of effective interventions, to inclusive dementia care and support, and to dementia-friendly neighbourhoods. Movisie also plays a key role in the implementation of the Dementia Care Standard amongst various target groups who will be working with it.

DEMPACT partner

Movisie is one of the organisations that together form the DEMPACT consortium. In addition, Movisie occasionally organises activities in collaboration with dementia consortia, such as working visits for researchers to dementia care settings.
