GERION

GERION is part of the Department of Geriatrics at Amsterdam UMC. The organisation provides training for specialists in geriatrics, as well as specialist training programmes such as that for dementia case managers. GERION also provides postgraduate training for healthcare professionals with university or higher professional education qualifications.

Disseminating knowledge about dementia through education and training

GERION contributes to the highest quality of care for older people with complex conditions, including those with dementia. GERION is therefore a coalition partner of DEMPACT. GERION is keen to contribute to the dissemination of scientific knowledge about dementia and new approaches to dementia care through the training and continuing professional development programmes it provides.
