11th Conference of the Nederlands Geheugenpoli Netwerk

11th Conference of the Nederlands Geheugenpoli Netwerk
3 November 2026 | 09:00 – 17:30 | Theater Gooiland | Emmastraat 2, Hilversum
Are you involved in a memory clinic, or are you conducting research relevant to the diagnosis, treatment or care of people with dementia? Then this conference is for you. Come and share your research findings and meet professionals who can benefit from your expertise.
The programme includes – amongst other things – presentations by:
- Dr Kay Deckers (NDPI): ‘Reducing the risk of dementia: from the ivory tower of science to society and mainstream care’;
- Dr Lize Jiskoot (Alzheimercentrum ErasmusMC): ‘The diagnosis of language disorders in dementia’;
- Tania Somson (whose partner had early-onset dementia): ‘That you’ll always stay with me – on Alzheimer’s and euthanasia’.
The mission of the Nederlands Geheugenpoli Netwerk (NGN) is to optimise the quality of diagnosis, treatment and support at Dutch memory clinics. During the 11th Nederlands Geheugenpoli Netwerk Conference, professionals and researchers working in memory clinics will exchange their knowledge, experiences and best practices – to learn from one another.
