A client who suddenly becomes very angry for no apparent reason, someone who keeps shouting or wandering about, night-time agitation, or, conversely, overburdened informal carers who react aggressively. How do you deal with this as a care professional in day-to-day practice? That is what this conference is about. Not about theory, but about translating it into practical actions.

If you’re conducting research to improve dementia care practice, this conference may be relevant to you. At this conference, you’ll meet healthcare professionals who want to learn how to improve care for people with dementia and their loved ones. And through the examples and discussions, you can learn how your research findings need to be adapted to become applicable in healthcare practice.

The conference is organised by Nursing, a platform run by BSL Media & Learning (a DEMPACT coalition partner) that provides reliable specialist information for professionals in the Dutch healthcare sector.
