Call for proposals Venture Challenge Spring 2027

This joint call, organized by LifeSciences@Work, NWO and Health Holland helps starting entrepreneurs in life sciences & health to bring their service or product to the market.

During a programme of eight to ten weeks, you will work with experienced coaches to sharpen your business case – from value proposition to market strategy and business model. You will receive support in setting up a company and developing your idea.

Who can apply?

• The Venture Challenge is for teams of at least three and a maximum of four people who are planning to bring a product or service in the field of life sciences & health to the market as a new start-up.
• The product or service is based on a new technological discovery or a new application of existing technology, grounded in scientific research.
• More specifically, it concerns a new therapy or medicine, diagnostics, medical device or a technology for improving existing – or accelerating the development of new – therapies or medicines.

This call concerns the spring edition 2027:

• April 14-16, 2027: First bootcamp;
• June 2-4, 2027: Second bootcamp;
• June 23, 2027: Pitches for the jury.

The deadline for applications is December 10, 2026.
