KIC Demand-Driven Research by Consortia – XL
Deadline: 12 November 2026 | 14:00 | Online
NWO has €14 million available for this KIC grant. Research organisations may apply for this grant provided they have formed a consortium comprising at least one company and one other research organisation.
The aim of this grant is to stimulate demand-driven public-private partnerships that contribute to impact (for people, the economy and the planet). The focus is on the societal challenges outlined in the central government’s innovation policy; these include an ageing population and health – and, consequently, research into (the treatment, care and wellbeing related to) dementia. The grant falls under the KIC research programme: the Dutch government’s Kennis- en InnovatieConvenant.
- The consortium’s knowledge and/or development needs are central. There are no disciplinary frameworks or pre-determined themes.
- However, the research must align with one or more Knowledge and Innovation Agendas (KIAs).
- This provides scope to design interdisciplinary research that is tailored to the consortium’s specific issues and ambitions.
