This call for proposals from ZonMw focuses on groundbreaking fundamental scientific research with the potential for significant scientific and/or societal impact. Proposals must demonstrate the potential to add value to current dementia care in the Netherlands.
The aim is to encourage new, creative and groundbreaking ideas that contribute to the prevention and treatment of dementia, and to the quality of life of people with dementia and their loved ones.
- The fellowship is intended for researchers who require a fellowship grant to further develop and carry out innovative research;
- the maximum budget per application is €370,000;
- the duration is 3 years;
A pre-application (by 2.00 pm on 6 July 2026 at the latest) is not compulsory but is encouraged; this gives ZonMw an indication of the expected number of applications.
